MOANA was built to be an economical long range family cruiser capable of accessing and exploring remote areas of the world. MOANA has logged over 118,000 miles since her launch. Her range is exceptional; as an example she made a non-stop passage from San Diego to the Marquesas Islands (a voyage of 3500 nautical miles) at 12 knots and retained a 1200 gallon fuel reserve upon arrival. Both her interior and exterior reflect a practical elegance rarely found in expedition vessels. Repowered in late 2011.
