AWATEA is the nicest modern-styled pedigreed yacht of this size on the world market. With a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, AWATEA was designed by Cor de Rover with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design while Felix Buytendijk was responsible for the interior design.

The interior is of a modern classic style, featuring mahogany panels, superbly beveled raised panel joinery, and classic white painted surfaces with beamed deck heads. The prevailing color scheme includes tones of blue, aqua, and white.

Built to Lloyds and MCA, with her 15 year class surveys just completed,  AWATEA was the first yacht to be built for chartering under the Dutch government rules for Commercial Cruising Vessels (CCV) and has the perfect length and layout for worldwide family cruising. AWATEA has been used privately her entire life.

Larger than normal for a 45m, her layout makes the most of her 499 GT. All five staterooms are really spacious with en-suite bathrooms and the full-beam master suite, accessed via a private study, has 2.30m headroom. She sleeps up to 14 guests and accommodates 9 crew.

The sun deck features a whirlpool tub and has a bar, dining areas, and lots of open deck space for lounging.

AWATEA is equipped with zero speed stabilizers and cruises comfortably at 11.3 knots with a max speed of 13 knots. Powered by twin 3508 Caterpillar engines she has an exceptional range of 4,600 nautical miles at her cruising speed.

With an open checkbook maintenance policy, she is in excellent condition and is a must-see in this size region.
