Designing, engineering and building yachts in a responsible way is part of this shipyard's ethos, from improving energy usage to running a responsible business and contributing to society. Since its inception in 1987, Oceanco has developed an outstanding reputation for building ‘atypical’ yachts, and it thrives on achieving what has never been attempted before.
Oceanco has long fostered a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship that is built on a foundation of collaboration. In recent years, it launched the Oceanco NXT initiative, a collective commitment to the future that has the potential to become one of the most impactful game-changers in yachting. As an innovator and pioneer in the industry, Oceanco takes a leading role in driving positive change. Sustainability, decarbonization and corporate social responsibility are central to this. The company is proactive when it comes to keeping abreast of the latest design developments and technologies relating to sustainability, often from outside the industry, and it continues to invest in ways to make its own operations more sustainable. To Oceanco, this is a journey that never really ends.
