Specialising in explorer yachts under 500GT, Cantiere delle Marche has been building vessels since 2010 in Ancona, Italy. With many award-winning yachts launched, most recently in 2024, the shipyard prioritises strength and seaworthiness in its custom and semi-custom vessels.
ABOUT CANTIERE DELLE MARCHE
Building in steel and aluminium, the Cantiere delle Marche team offer a large range of semi-custom explorer yacht options, ranging from 26.1M/86’, the entry-level yacht in the popular Darwin Class, to 47M/155’, the largest yacht in the RJ line, as well as full-custom explorer vessels. The Cantiere delle Marche facilities include three state-of-the-art construction sheds totalling 10,000 sqm, surrounded by 6,000 sqm of hardstandings for ancillary activities and movimentations. On site is also a private quay with a 750 sqm operational area and 4 berths for delivery and refitting.

The yard’s inaugural product line, the DARWIN CLASS, available in 26.1M/86’, 31M/102’ and 35M/115, has 13 models launched since 2010. It features a grade A steel hull in 12mm thickness at the base, more than the standard classification. The line features an engine room with component typical of much larger vessels, technologies proven on high-intensity mercantile ships. It can easily be adapted to the Owner’s requests.
The FLEXPLORER models, in 40.2M/132’ and 44.3M/146’, feature a concealed A-frame crane for tender launches, elevated bow and bulwarks and a large cockpit. Streamlined naval architecture is designed to optimise fuel efficiency, and power output is engineered to be minimized.
The RJ CLASS combines a superyacht aesthetic with explorer engineering, featuring the yard’s key explorer features including a 12mm keel plate, overengineered systems and concealed crane on the sundeck. The RJ CLASS adds to this glass work, including floor-to-ceiling windows, and 200sqm of outdoor guest spaces. Available in 35M/115’, 39M/130’ and 46.8M/155’.
The DEEP BLUE range features an uncluttered profile, tapered bow, streamlined superstructure, and carefully planned engine room, as well as balanced interior and exterior guest areas including an expansive beach club areas with swimming pool. The range of these vessels extends beyond Transatlantic. Available in 35M/115’, 39M/130’ and 43M/141’.
Cantiere Delle Marche also creates custom vessels, one per year, utilising the engineering proven on their semi-custom ranges.
