Azimut
With a heritage that dates back to 1969, Azimut has evolved from a modest sailboat charter operation in Avigliana into key player in luxury Italian sport yacht manufacturing. In 1985, Azimut merged with luxury boat building company Benetti.
Azimut
Founded by Paolo Vitelli, Azimut became successful with their first major contract Amerglass shipyard, a modern Dutch shipyard producing boats in fibreglass. This was followed by other successful contracts with Westerly, British Powles and Draco, who appointed Azimut to distribute their boats in Italy. Azimut soon started to build and market Azimut vessels for sale. As part of the prestigious Azimut-Benetti Group, the shipyard has showcased its commitment to design, craftsmanship and technological advancement. With a fleet from 12M/39’ to 44M/144’, Azimut embodies the spirit of the sea and Italian sophistication.
