Alessandra Rosmarino

Alessandra joined Fraser as Project Manager in 2023, based in Viareggio, Italy. 

After completing a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine engineering in Genoa, she moved to La Spezia for an MSc in Yacht Design, and after a short experience in Paris working on various projects for VPLP, she moved to the Netherlands.

Starting at MARIN (doing research using in-house CFD tools) she then worked in the Feadship design office (De Voogt naval architects), where she followed projects of 70M to 140M yachts. During this four-year experience, her professional growth led her to cover different roles, from design engineer to being responsible for the whole structural design.

Her deep interest in sustainability made her leave the yard life to join the startup ‘The Ocean Cleanup’, whose goal is to rid the oceans of plastics.

She then moved back in Italy to join San Lorenzo, where she was Project Engineer of the 62/64M line.
