Joan Civera

Joan joined Fraser in 2022 as Technical Superintendent.

Born in Dénia, Spain, Joan grew up sailing in the surrounding of this coastal city on the Mediterranean Sea. He later moved to Southampton to study Yacht and Powercraft Design, graduating with a master’s degree in Science in Naval Architecture.

Joan started his career as a Technical Superintendent Assistant at Baleària on board Ro-Pax vessels, ensuring the correct vessel’s operation, acting as owner’s representative during shipyard periods and having been involved in a refit to LNG. It’s his passion for sailing and yachting that brought him back to the world of yachting, working as a Project Manager at MB92 Barcelona, where he was involved in some major superyacht refit projects. His varied experience gives him extensive knowledge of both yachts and commercial vessels.

Joan speaks Spanish, and English. Aside from his passion for yachting, he is passionate about travel and sports, especially sailing, scuba diving and skiing.
