Alev Semiz brings over a decade of expertise in luxury yacht charter and sales to Fraser. Having begun her career in the marine industry as a ship and cargo broker, where she served as the Turkey manager for two major firms, Alev transitioned to the yachting sector in 2014. She founded her own family company, Sofi Yacht, in Istanbul ten years ago and has since successfully managed numerous high-profile charters and yacht sales.
Alev’s extensive background, combined with her deep understanding of the maritime and yachting industries, enables her to provide unparalleled service to her clients. She studied Yacht Management at the Maritime Training Academy in 2016 and holds a CYBA Yacht Charter Broker certification from the same year. Alev also spent 1.5 years in England during her university years, where she received business English training, and lived in Florida for 6 months in 2016, gaining exposure to different cultures.
During the summer months, Alev resides in Bodrum, where she personally oversees every charter operation, ensuring guests are welcomed with professionalism and personal care. Her dedication to client satisfaction, attention to detail, and hands-on approach to each charter make her an asset in the charter industry. Alev holds a degree in English Linguistics from Mersin University and is fluent in Turkish and English, with conversational German.
