The Richard Earp Award Ceremony

Fraser Yachts is delighted to announce that the Richard Earp Award, created in tribute to the much loved and respected broker Richard Earp following his passing earlier this year, has received tremendous positive response and an impressive list of nominees for its inaugural edition.

The judging panel, composed of Eric Blair – Secretary General of LYBRA, Fiona Maureso – President of MYBA, Espen Oeino – Yacht Designer, Jay Tooker – Lawyer at Holman Fenwick Willan, Michael Bremen – Sales Director at Lurssen and Gianbattista Borea d’Olmo – CEO of the Ports of Monaco chaired by Roberto Giorgi, Chairman of Fraser Yachts, met in Monaco on Monday September 19th for the deliberation and selection of the winning candidate.

“We received 12 nominations and the list of nominees was really inspiring. This award has been created to emphasize and reward human qualities with a particular emphasis on the valuable attributes of transparency, fair and ethical behaviour, charisma and style, which Richard was renowned for. We want to encourage these values in our industry and especially to the younger generation of brokers. We really believe that this award should become an industry award and be celebrated as an annual event.” explained Roberto Giorgi.

The 2016 winner of the Richard Earp Award will be announced on Wednesday September 28th at an Award ceremony which will take place during the MYBA and ICOMIA cocktail evening at the Rascasse bar, from 5.30pm to 7pm. All the nominees have been informed of their candidature and invited to attend the MYBA cocktail.
