Luxury in Paradise: the Antigua Charter Yacht Show 2017

A spectacular fleet of charter yachts is once again converging in Antigua for the upcoming Antigua Charter Yacht Show, which will run for 6 days between the 4^th and 10^th of December 2017. The event will take place across three spectacular locations: Nelson’s Dockyard Marina, Falmouth Harbour Marina, and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina.

Launching the Winter Season

Beginning the Caribbean winter season in style, the 58^th Antigua Charter Yacht Show will allow yacht brokers and members of the international press to visit the best yachts for charter in the region; they will be able to get to know the layouts of the yachts, experience their special features, and interact with the crew. For Fraser, the event offers the ideal opportunity to exhibit some of the many yachts that are available to charter in the Caribbean through winter season.

Merging Business and Pleasure

A trade-only event, the Antigua Charter Yacht Show allows the opportunity for crew to showcase the incredible service that charter guests will experience on board. Both the Chef Competition and the Tablescaping competition are greatly anticipated fixtures of the event, whereby judges step aboard the yachts of competing crew to evaluate their skills. Additionally, the crew are also tested for the famous ‘marina nights,’ in which yacht brokers and press are invited to experience special events on yachts. Canapes and cocktails are served, along with great entertainment.

An Action-Packed Schedule

The show’s format will include 5 days of yacht viewings, plus one ‘Day Sail’ event on the sixth day, to which brokers will be invited for a micro-charter around Antigua’s stunning coastline. There’s also a packed schedule of morning seminars on industry topics such as exciting charter destinations, updates on hurricane recovery, yachting regulation information sessions, and new yachting technologies. Other popular events will include the welcome night cocktail party and the highly anticipated charity event, ‘Let’s Rebuild Barbuda’ which will be sponsored by Fraser.
