One of the most important events in the yacht charter industry begins today with the 28th edition of the MYBA Charter Show in Genoa, Italy. The event will run between the 2nd and 5th of May, and will welcome some of the world’s most impressive superyachts for charter.
Fraser Yachts will be in attendance and exhibiting some stunning charter yachts. M/Y VICTORY, M/Y HELIAD II, M/Y LATIKO and M/Y URIAMIR will be open for viewings, with brokers and crew on hand to exhibit these yachts to potential clients. The beautiful 52m M/Y VICTORY is an ideal charter yacht, with four double staterooms and three twin staterooms accommodating up to 12 guests. The luxurious, airy and spacious interior underwent an extensive refit in 2010 by the famous yacht designer Giorgio Vafiadis, while the yacht’s exterior is a testament to stunning minimalist design. VICTORY Genoa MYBA charter show 2016 The 33.5m motor yacht HELIAD II will also be on display at the MYBA Charter Show 2016. With her classic exterior contrasting beautifully with her contemporary and light-filled interior, M/Y HELIAD II was launched in 2013 by Dutch yacht builder, Lynx. The yacht’s eight-metre beam affords this yacht great volume, accommodating up to 10 guests in spacious staterooms. The canoe stern creates a larger deck and the midship tender garage allows for more entertaining spaces on deck. HELIAD II Genoa MYBA charter show 2016 M/Y LATIKO will also be in attendance with the brokerage. A fantastic charter yacht from Benetti, motor yacht LATIKO can accommodate 11 guests in five sumptuous staterooms, including a master and two VIP staterooms. With a sophisticated interior crafted by Zuretti Interiors Design and an exterior by Stefano Righini Design, this yacht is a modern classic and offers brilliant features for charter, including an onboard gym, fully-integrated Air Play for all your media systems and a six person Jacuzzi on the sundeck. LATIKO NEW PROFILE PIc genoa myba charter show 2016 URIAMIR, a new addition to the Fraser Yachts charter fleet, will complete the charter display from Fraser Yachts at the MYBA show 2016.  A 23.83m motor yacht, URIAMIR was built by Princess Yachts in 2010 and offers an elegant interior with expansive relaxation areas. With a cruising speed of 18 knots, this semi-displacement yacht has a range of 1,500nm. She accommodates eight guests in four well-appointed staterooms, with additional space for four crew. She is available for cruising in the West Mediterranean. Events at the MYBA Charter Show 2016 The MYBA Charter Show acts as a valuable networking and educational opportunity for the yacht charter industry, with a full schedule of seminars and industry events. Topics for discussion this year include destination information on rising charter spots, Norway and Cuba, as well as an important seminar on charter contract revisions. There will also be a fantastic line-up of events during the show, including the famous Yacht Hop, where participating yachts host parties on board for press and brokers in order to show off their charter capabilities and the skills of its professional crew. This year’s show will again host the fiercely contested MYBA Superyacht Chefs’ Competition, as the top charter yacht chefs battle it out for the title. The Charter Show is a trade-only show for MYBA members, and is therefore not open to the general public.
