Fraser Supports the 34th Annual Boys & Girls Clubs Rendezvous
The Boys and Girls Clubs Rendezvous is one of the largest social superyacht rendezvous in the world, and Fraser has been a leading sponsor for the event for over a decade. The annual charity event and exclusive superyacht gathering has successfully raised more than $30 million to date to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County.
Taking place at the private Fisher Island in Miami, Florida, attendees were able to enjoy some of the finer things in life. Throughout the weekend yacht owners and captains participated in a little friendly competition to provide the most top-notch experience and to truly impress their guests. It was a weekend full of enjoyment. Some of the highlights included a yacht hop and dinner on the docks under the stars, and a gala with the stars featuring a special performance by Natasha Bedingfield.
The event kicked off Thursday, November 3rd with the Yacht Owners Welcome Reception followed by the Yacht Hop and Dockside Party where tasty libations were flowing and interactive entertainment 007 Bond style kept things interesting. The fun continued into Friday with a nine-hole golf tournament to kick off the morning followed by a wine pairing luncheon. The evening ended with a Spies in Disguise Costume Dinner and Dance Party.
Saturday, November 5th proved to be the most eventful day with a fishing competition followed by a Taste of the Nation Market Place. The evening kicked off with a cocktail party which led into the Black Tie Gala with a special performance by Natasha Bedingfield. The party continued late into the evening where guests indulged in a nightcap and danced with live entertainment.
This year's theme was James Bond: Shaken Not Stirred. And the well-attended event proved to be another year of smashing success raising money for The Boys & Girls Club of Broward County. A special shout out to Fraser's own Mike Busacca who serves on the Executive Committee for the event.
