Cannes Film Festival: 17^th to 28^th May

It's party time in Cannes this May as the pretty Riviera port prepares to celebrate the 70th edition of the world's favourite cinematic event: the Cannes Film Festival. Festival-goers are especially excited that celebrated director, Spain's Pedro Almodóvar, is this year's President of the Jury and Italian beauty, Monica Belluci, will be hosting the festival's opening and closing ceremonies. As Hollywood's biggest stars grace the red carpet of the Palais des Festivals, the superyachts lined up alongside the festival headquarters become central attractions for the event’s most exclusive parties.

Monaco Grand Prix: 25^th to 28^th May

The 2017 Formula One Grand Prix season is well underway. Fans from around the world are eagerly anticipating the battle between 2017 rivals Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton on the streets of Monaco at the end of May. The fifth race of the season, Monaco is a favourite for both fans and drivers. There is hardly a more iconic sight in F1 than that of the superyachts moored along the chicane of Port Hercule. Experience the rush of adrenaline induced by the race from the aft deck of a superyacht charter, as the drivers tackle 78 laps of the famous street circuit.

Cannes Lions: 17^th to 24^th June

For those in the creative industries, Cannes is the place to be each June for Cannes Lions – the International Festival of Creativity. Held at the same waterfront location as the Cannes Film Festival, this it is an opportunity for the communications, marketing, entertainment, design and tech professionals to be recognised for their innovative creations. Merging business and pleasure, the awards are a great chance to network and seal deals in both formal and informal settings.

M/Y LUMIERE is guaranteed to light up the Cannes Lions. The 49.89m Benetti superyacht for charter was built in 1999 and underwent a full refit in 2014, with an updated interior design that is light and sophisticated. She accommodates up to 90 day-guests for an event or 12 sleeping in six stunning staterooms.
