Spring in the South of France really is magical, especially for those looking for super yachts for sale. The region boasts one of the most exciting yacht shows in the world – the Antibes Yacht Show 2012 - which is a mean feat for an exhibition which was only started six years ago.
The show, which is held in and around the picturesque Port Vauban every Springtime, easily draws crowds of up to 13,000 yachts lovers – many looking to browse the large selection of super yachts for sale. It is a show that has historically been dedicated to the brokerage and charter of larger yachts – although anyone who is anyone looking for a yacht for sale would be wise to drop in to see what’s going on. This year the event, being held from April 12th to 15th, will also boast a designated refit areas in the Bastion St Jaume, widening the appeal of the Yacht show even further. In 2011, show organisers were delighted to welcome more than 150 exhibitors from 14 different countries across the globe featuring a range of magnificent yachts from 15 to 70 metres. Super yachts for sale last year included vessels such as Villa Reis and Follow me 4, which did wonders to boost the Antibes Yacht Show’s reach to the industries more influential members, including Fraser Yachts.

- Networking connections: show organizers will give potential buyers looking for a yacht for sale the opportunity to connect on line with potential brokers prior to and during the show to organize a rendez-vous.
- A late evening rendez-vous: most nights the show finishes before the sun goes down but this year you can make the most of a new late evening on Friday April 13th, for exhibitors to welcome visitors until 9pm.
- A ‘Yacht Hop Day’: this exciting new event will allow exhibiting brokers to hop on the yachts presented at the show, for a good look round.
