AEGEAN600 Sponsored by Fraser
Fraser is proud to support the 3rd edition of the Aegean 600 in Greece
Following the launch of its dedicated Athens office and team in 2022, Fraser continues to focus on spotlighting the very best that Greece has to offer within the world of yachts and yachting.
We are proud to announce the support and strategic alignment with the 3rd edition of the exciting AEGEAN 600 taking place from 7-15th July 2023.
The event, often referred to as the perfect 600-mile race'', has attracted 46 boats and 18 nations for this year's edition, one of the most internationally diverse in its short but impressive history.
One of the world's most important yachting and maritime hubs, Greece has always been an important market for Fraser across all services and support, with the destination ranking the 2nd most popular with Fraser charter clients (after Italy) accounting for an impressive 18% of all charter weeks booked by Fraser clients in 2022.
Vassilis Fotilas, Fraser Sales Broker and Fraser Greece Management, commented: At Fraser we love the sea, we love Greece and we love yachts. In addition to our emotional connections with this event, we genuinely believe the format together with the sheer conviction and passion shown by the organisers for the Aegean 600, is set to make this edition one of the most important races on the international offshore racing calendar.
The backdrop of the Greek islands and Aegean Sea are breathtaking, whilst the challenges posed by this 600nm course are formidable. We have several friends and clients racing at this year's edition and very much look forwarding to welcoming many more for next years' edition.
There are so many ways to relish and enjoy yachts and yachting, whether it is with the thrill of offshore racing, or the more relaxed seduction of a pristine yacht anchored in the calm waters of a secluded bay. Whichever our clients, partners and colleagues opt for, we are always proud to be able to share and support the very best of all that yachts and yachting have to offer. The Aegean 600 is exactly that.''"
