Amalfi coast yacht charter itinerary

Itinerary
day 1 Embarkation in Naples
Embarkation in Naples around mid-day. Cast off shortly afterwards for the scenic Amalfi coast and anchor off in Positano, a pretty town set on the hillside with good anchorages, excellent water sports in the bay and the perfect place for lunch on board and familiarisation with the yacht. Dine ashore in one of the several famous seafood restaurants between Positano and Nerano.
day 2 Ischia
Popularly called the Emerald Island, Ischia is covered in pine groves with sparkling waters gently crashing into its beaches. It promises that its numerous thermal spas will cure you of any ailment. Ischia’s most conspicuous natural wonder is the volcano, Monte Epomeo, that sits in its centre and heats the island’s thermal springs.
day 3 Ponza
Going to Ponza is all about living and breathing “il mare”. You will find it is a rare Mediterranean gem that has kept its Italian identity intact and undiluted. You will be greeted by an attractive harbour with its backdrop of pretty pink houses clinging to the hillside.
day 4 Zannone
The green isle of Zannone is a nature reserve and also the site of a ruined Benedictine convent dating back to the XIII century. Zannone is part of the Circeo National Park because of its beauty and the integrity of its environment. It is the greenest of the Pontine Islands and is covered with a thick vegetation based on Mediterranean scrub.
day 5 Capri
Visit the famous Island of Capri and discover the treasures the island has to offer. Explore the old town of Capri and try one of the most famous restaurants and after dinner you can dance the night away at one of the many clubs on the Island.
day 6 Positano
Sail from Capri to Positano and explore this luxurious holiday spot, built vertically on the face of a cliff. This sophisticated resort remains a pedestrian town with various point of views where you can admire the stunning coloured facades which makes Positano one of Italy’s most romantic town.
day 7 Pompei
Finish your journey around the Amalfi coast by visiting the buried city of Pompei and immerse yourself in the rich history of the ancient city. Marvel at the fabulously preserved frescoes and ancient thermal baths, temples, forums and villas built by the Romans.
