Barcelona yacht charter
As Spain continues to open up to yacht charter, Barcelona is emerging as a leading city for embarkation. The buzzing cosmopolitan hub is not only a convenient transportation hub, but it offers world-class events and entertainment year-round.
Oneocean Port
This purpose-built superyacht marina is leading the way as a world-class yachting hub. Set in the very heart of the city, just minutes’ walk from the Gothic Quarter, OneOcean Port Vell has over 150 berths for yachts up to 190 metres in length. The brand new private yacht club features superb restaurants, spa, gym and tapas bar with terrace overlooking the marina.
Barcelona Grand Prix
Each May the Spanish Grand Prix returns to the city, offering a high-octane way to start off your yacht charter in Barcelona. Taking place at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit just a 30 minute drive from OneOcean Port Vell, a number of VIP ticket options mean you can enjoy the action in style.
Artists and Architecture
Probably the most recognisable building in Barcelona is the Sagrada Família grand cathedral, Gaudí’s Gothic masterpiece that is entering its final phases of painstaking construction, due for completion in 2026 (after 144 years of work). Gaudí’s work can be found throughout the city, along the Gothic Quarter’s tree-lined streets and up in the quizzical Park Güell.
World-class cuisine
Barcelona is famed for its excellent gastronomic scene, with over 20 Michelin-starred restaurants from which to choose. Although new hotspots continue to pop up, a number of highlights continue to attract those in the know. Pakta offers fantastic Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian) cuisine, while two-Michelin-starred Enoteca provides a more traditional Mediterranean menu from Chef Paco Perez. Head La Terrassa, the rooftop bar at Villa Emilia for late-night cocktails and dancing under the stars.
