Jonathan Quinn Barnett has been designing luxury superyachts for over 30 years. As a graduate of the prestigious DAAP college for Industrial Design, Jonathan launched his design career in 1987, working under the renowned yacht designer Jon Bannenberg of London, UK. In 1995, with his brother Chris as GM, they established JQB Ltd in Seattle, Washington, USA. This international award-winning studio has launched many superyacht designs of distinction reflecting a breadth of expertise expressed in classical architectural styles with traditional detailing to minimally modern, yet elegantly comfortable maritime retreats.

Creating original bespoke designs since 1995, JQB Ltd was established in Seattle to capitalize on the emerging composites technology being developed thru aviation and yacht building manufacturers in the Pacific Northwest USA. Specializing in only the finest luxury, JQB Ltd was one of the first superyacht studios to integrate 3D modelling into the design and production of complex exterior parts and interior visualizations for their yacht projects.
