Baglietto Yachts

Baglietto Yachts was founded in 1854 by Pietro Baglietto, and so can boast more than 150 years of yacht construction and knowledge. Baglietto originated from a village near the Port of Genova called Varazze, and became an example within the naval community. Later in the 19th Century, Baglietto began to build cargo boats, ferry boats and fishing boats, and were instrumental in the introduction of the internal-combustion engine.

During the early 19th Century Baglietto began constructing racing and pleasure boats, through which they won world speed records for many years, increasing the brand image and confirming the quality of Baglietto’s vessels. The two World Wars created much demand for military boats to be constructed and this allowed Baglietto to become a specialist in this field also. Nowadays Baglietto Yachts manufacture luxury sailing boats and motor yachts.

Baglietto Yachts has two shipyards, one in Varazze and the other in La Spezia, building yachts from aluminium and steel. Both Baglietto shipyards have their own design departments with the ability to build vessels from 18 to 150m in length, not only offering custom-made super yachts, but a maintenance and refit service as well.

Baglietto is considered a true forefather in the luxury yachting industry, emphasising the true core values in technology, performance, design and glamour. The Baglietto shipyard looks to make superyachts to the exact requests of owners and uses the most advanced and sophisticated technologies in the industry to do so. Whilst excellence in performance is achieved through technology, every Baglietto build also focuses on producing innovative design.
