Taking a yacht charter in Mexico offers the chance to sample the country's warm hospitality and distinctive architectural style. The pueblos of Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo and Acapulco are pearls strung together attracting a chic clientele along this coastline.

Sample Itinerary

Day

1&2

Board in La Paz and cruise to Balandra. This is a dream area to swim and snorkel. Leave for Isla Partida. Isla Espiritu Santo is the closest island to the Bay of La Paz and possesses the most stunning views. Its contrasting desert landscapes of reddish limestone cliffs juxtaposed with turquoise blue sea create breathtaking vistas.

3

On the second day of your Mexico yacht charter, cruise to the north end of Isla Partida is Los Islotes. Here you can swim with some friendly seals and enjoy an excellent reef dive. Cruising to Isla San Francisco you should see numerous manta ray, seals and thresher sharks. Spend the evening in the beautiful Bay of Isla San Francisco, which provides excellent protected moorings.

4

Spend the day at the Isla San Francisco, where the warm water warm is great for swimming and the snorkeling is usually excellent. The sandy bottom of the cove is home to thousands of garden eels, and it is fascinating to watch them sink into the sand as you float over them. A great day trip from Isla San Francisco is to a tiny island at the north end called Isla Lobo. Leave for nearby Bahia Amortajada for the night.

5

Spend the fifth day of your Mexico yacht charter in Bahia Amortajada. Here you can kayak into the mangrove forest or take the tender to Isla Coyote, home to a small fishing communtiy and a great destination for diving. Spend the evening at Punta San Evaristo, which is an approximate one and one-half hour passage.

6&7

Return to Isla Partida for the last night before your disembarkation in La Paz.
